Robert R. Cohen, D.M.D.
Dr. Cohen received his B.A. degree in Chemistry from Boston College in 1994 and his D.M.D. from Temple University in 1998. He completed his General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, N.Y. in 1999 and was Chief Resident in 2000. He is affiliated with St. Barnabas at the present time.
Dr. Cohen has been in private practice since 1999. He has performed one visit Root Canal Therapy for over 10 years. He also prescribes and performs successful Interceptive Orthodontics on children from 6 years of age and up.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and Bridgeport Dental Association.
Dr. Cohen grew up in Essex, M.A. and presently resides in Fishkill, N.Y. with his wife Tanya, sons Aiden and Aaron and stepdaughter Nadia.
Some of his hobbies are hiking, mountain biking, welding and golf.
Joseph A. Piliero, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Joseph A. Piliero has been practicing in Southport for 23 years. He and his wife Linda, a Fairfield University alumnus, and his 2 daughter have lived in Fairfield for 20 years. Dr. Piliero received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, and completed his family practice residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. He also obtained a Master's Degree in Oral Histology and Cell Biology at NYU Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Piliero has written and published over 10 scientific articles. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; Academy of Laser Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry.
For the last 15 years, Dr. Piliero has been placing mini implants as well as incorporating immediate implants after extractions for his patients. He also completed a 3 year certification in orthodontics with the Progressive Orthodontic Institute.
Dr. Piliero is an Associate Professor at St. Barnabas Hospital Residency Program in NYC. He has lectured and taught all phases of general dentistry for the past 15 years.
When he is not in the office or teaching, Dr. Piliero enjoys golf, bike riding and boating with his family.
Alvyn S. Yeoh, D.D.S.
Dr. Alvym S. Yeoh is a graduate of the University of the Pacific's six year accelerated Bachelor's and Doctor of Dental Surgery program. He received his B.S. degree in Biological Sciences in 2007 and D.D.S. in 2010.
Dr. Yeoh completed his residency in General Practice Dentistry from Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, N.Y. in 2011. He then completed his Chief Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital GPR program in N.Y. in 2012.
Dr. Yeoh is now part of the Medical Staff at St. Barnabas Hospital Department of Dentistry. One of his passions is pediatric dentistry!
Born in Acton, M.A., Dr. Yeoh grew up on both coasts of the United States and the Asian Pacific Rim, including Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
When not bound by his duties at the office or at the hospital, Dr. Yeoh can be found traveling and exploring with his wife Kathleen.
