Dr. Joseph A. Piliero has been practicing in Southport for 16 years. He and his wife Linda, a Fairfield University alumnus, and his two daughters, Joanna and Liz, have lived in Fairfield for 14 years.

Dr. Piliero received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry, and completed his family practice residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. He also obtained a Master's Degree in Oral Histology and Cell Biology at NYU Graduate School Of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Piliero has written and published over 15 scientific articles. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; Academy of Laser Dentistry, ADA, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Piliero has trained extensively at the Dawson TMJ and Occlusion Institute.

He is an Associate Professor at St. Barnabas Hospital Residency Program in NYC. He has lectured and taught all phases of general dentistry for the past 15 years. When he is not in the office or teaching, Dr.Piliero enjoys tennis,biking,and boating with his family.
